THE GRANATAPET CAMPUS

GranataPet Campus centralizes topics related to dogs and cats.

Alongside the new office spaces, the GranataPet Campus is developing event and training rooms. The provision of comprehensive knowledge on the care, nutrition, and training of dogs and cats is planned through numerous courses and lectures here. A small animal practice with an animal healer is intended to provide medical care for pets on the campus.

Innovative workspace for GranataPet employees

"The social exchange among colleagues is crucial for personal development, avoiding individual isolation, and the success of a company. Therefore, contrary to the trend, we aim to have the entire team working on-site," explains Markus Fuchsenthaler, adding: "For this purpose, we are creating a modern work environment at the GranataPet Campus with ergonomically designed workstations, an in-house gym, relaxation areas, massage services, childcare facilities, regular health checks, and additional benefits such as free drinks and lunches, and more. Of course, there's also the obligatory fruit basket, and dogs are always welcome in the workplace."

Futurepet Program for start-ups in the pet industry

Start-ups offering innovative solutions for the pet industry will have the opportunity on campus to benefit from expert knowledge, an extensive network, swift market access, and potentially initial investments. The selected start-ups will have the chance to move onto the GranataPet Campus and participate in the FuturePet Program. These start-ups will receive intensive mentoring and workshop sessions over several months.

Office building with an ecological footprint

The building is designed as a low-energy house. It generates renewable energy and intelligently utilizes it to cover its own consumption. The surplus energy generated is supplied to the energy market. Architect Simon Habel emphasizes, "Compared to legal requirements, the building annually saves over 17 tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) and requires over 55% less energy." Absolute resource efficiency reduces energy and water consumption as well as waste production as much as possible, aligning with GranataPet's sustainability goals.

"My vision of a holistic campus for all 'pack members' is set to become a reality by June 2024," Markus Fuchsenthaler enthuses.
